Time Zone confusion

S

Steve Dell

Using Outlook XP and Windows XP.

I recently moved from OH to Arizona. When I changed the time zone and
indicated that AZ doesn't observe daylight savings time, all of my current
and historical times were incorrect.

If I had an old appointment while in OH scheduled for 9:00 AM to 11:00 for
September 22, 2003, after adjusting the time zone control panel, that
appointment is now 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM for the same date.

In addition, all of my birthdays are spanning two days.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Ensure that your daylight savings time values are the same under Outlook
Tools->Options->Calendar as well as Control Panel->Regional Settings.

Within Windows XP, the Control Panel to swap time zones is "Date and Time"
and is not covered in the Regional setup.

Everything is now consistent.
