Time showing on e -mails received

The time on my incoming e - mails s approximately 3 hours different from the
time I actually receive them.
Where do I go to reset this time?
I have not had this problem before but I now have a new computer with Vista
Home Premium O. S.

Check your time zone by clicking on the clock in the system tray, lower right
hand corner of your screen.
