TIFF Image support on CF?

The documentation does not state (from what I've found anyway) whether TIFF
is or is not supported on the compact frame work. Because tiff is
supported as an Image type within the bitmap object, it appears that tiff
would display, but I have not had any success with displaying tiffs on the
compact frame work (pocket pc 2002).

Due to the multiple formats of tiff, I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone
can shed some light on the subject.

I did a Google search and the answer there was "no". Can anyone point me
to any official documentation that confirms?

Only Bmp, Gif and Jpg are supported in the Compact Framework. Pocket PC 2002
has no in-built functionality to open TIFF images.
