tick not check box X

Word 2003.

I have to make some sort of form / template that lots of people will
use, and basically they want some of the tables with questions in
them to have “tick” answers in them. They don’t want the check box
X they want a tick (fussy Bs !)


Now most of them will have no idea about just inserting symbols so it
needs to be a “simple” click / or paste or the like.

can anyone help me here.
