Thumbnails in One particular Folder (My Network Places) appear with no Name, or identification.

I am running Windows XP SR2;

In one specific folder, My Network Places, when I select VIEW/thumbnails.
No name or any information appears beneath the Thumbnail icons. This happens
regardless of how they are arranged. VIEW/choose details shows Name,
Computer, and Network location checked. The name, computer, etc appear on,
Tiles, Lists, and Icons but not Thumbnails. This is not a problem on all my
other folders. On my other laptop, thumbnails appear with name, etc for My
Network Places. As far as I can determine settings are identical for View,
and Folder Options.

What could be the problem and how do I correct?

TIA

One additional piece of information: When I drill down in the C drive to
the Owner NetHood Folder, it works okay. However when I double-click on the
My Network Places Icon on my desktop and the folder opens, that's where I
don't see names under the thumbnails. I am the only user on this machine.

Googled: No file names under thumbnails Windows XP

Ans: Hold shift key then open folder ( in this case My Network Places on
desktop). In thumbnail view only ----- this will toggle names on and off.
