Hi all
This is more of a nuisance than a problem.
This only started in past few days after accidently deleted some folders in
System Tools. When opening the "my computer" and clicking "views" and then
clicking "thumbnails" there is now no lettering to identify the icons in the
thumbnail mode. "Tiles", "icons", "list" and "details", do show lettering but
"thumbnails" does not.
Can anyone advise a fix.
Excuse the shortwindedness.

Change the view, then press the Shift key as you change back to
Thumbnails view.

On the View menu at the top of the window, change the view to
any thing other than Thumbnails.
Next, while holding down the Shift key, change the selection in
the View menu back to Thumbnails.

A Google search with the right terms would have given you the
answer.

Good luck
