Thumbnail woes

Can anyone help me
I cant get my psd (photoshop) files to display as photo thumbnails in my
pictures. Instead I am getting the Paint Shop Pro 9 icon. All other image
formats are displaying correctly.

Right click on a photo.
Click on Open with on the opening menu.
Click on Choose program at the bottom of the menu.
A list will open, select photoshop and check the box "Always...."
This will work, but depending upon your computer resources it may be slow to
generate thumbnails. If so, go back and select Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer instead of photoshop and when you want to edit a photo right click on
it and then Open with and select photoshop, or just open photoshop and then
open the photo in it.
