I was just wondering what a "normal" amount of running threads at one
time is in windows XP. On my computer its normally around 400 (i check
with ctrl-alt-delete). that seems a little excessivly high. can anyone
tell me what it should be around or at least what its like on their
computer? thanks.

Mine shows about 260 threads and 33 processes. What programs do you have
loading
on startup?

I'm running 445 right now, with only Mozilla Thunderbird running in the
foreground, and nothing much running in background.
