There is an update for Netframework 2

Pat, or anyone else who could direct me to a useful link,

Now that this topic has been brought up, in my Add/Remove I have MANY
entries for .NET Framework going all tha way back to v1.0.3705 .
Could I remove all but the most recent entry?

More importantly, have all these .NET Framework upgrades left behind stuff
on my drive that I can safely remove? I suspect that they've chewed up a lot
of disk space.

I'm following up on my own post here.
After much research elsewhere, the basic answers to my 2 questions are NO
and NO.
The .NET FW stuff is a complex beasty and it's best just to let it be.

Just an FYI to those following along at home.
