The Window/Installer folder takes all my spaces

Hi,

I desperately need help. My window/installer folder in my c drive takes
about 15GB. I have no space to run the defragmentation program. The
performance is very slow. Can I delete those files?

Thank you in advance for anyone who can give me a direction.

Regards,
Marina

Hi Marina:

The Installer folder needs to stay. The Disk Cleanup Wizard will help
you free up disk space. You may also be able to free up some disk space
by reducing the allocations for Temporary Internet Files, the Recycle
Bin or Restore Points.

You don't say how large you hard disk is - you may just need a larger
hard disk. These days hard disks of 80GB and up can be had for about $50
or less if you don't mind rebates.

Hi, Leonard

Thank you very much for your reply. I don't understand why my installer
folder is so big. I've checked with other people. They don't have a such
big installer folder. My C drive is 20 GB. I suppose I can upgrade my C
drive. I'm just wondering how come my installer folder is much larger than
everyone else.

Thanks.

Regards,
Marina
