The value of [Pages] is incorrect

I have a report which has code in one of the group headers that forces new pages under certain conditions. This has caused the = [Page] & " of " & [Pages] in the page footer to show too few pages in the report. i.e. You can start on (Page 1 of 22) and end on (Page 28 of 22). I was wondering if there was a way to force the number of pages to be re-counted
If not; is there any way to move to the last page of the report and get the [Page] value when the report reformats based on grouping conditions and then update the Page of Pages text box
Any advice is appreciated

I figured something out. I kept track of the pages detail section.

Is your code in the On Format event or in the On Print event? I suspect the
latter and would recommend that you try moving the code to the On Format event.
