I can play The Sims 2 just fine, however, the Body Shop program doesn't work
for me. I've tried asking EA for information/help and they've concluded that
it is a Direct 3D error and pointed me in this direction.
I click on the Body Shop icon to open the program and this error pops up:

Direct 3D returned an error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL!
The application will now terminate...

I've tried downloading the newest version of Direct X and the Direct 3D
files, but neither appear to improve this.
I am running Windows XP Professional (version 5.1.2600). The computer
itself is a Dell Inspiron E1505 (laptop). Any help that can be offered would
be greatly appreciated.
