The remote computer has timed out !!

hello all

i have installed the IIS on my home pc running media centre and have set the
port as required and unblocked the remote desktop from the firewall. however
when i try to access my machine from another pc via the internet website
http://ipaddress:port//tsweb it reports "the remote connection has timed out,
please try connecting to the remote computer agian"

any suggestions..

i am try to achieve what the following website outlines

Can you do it locally? For example, can you do http://ipaddress:port//tsweb in the same computer.

i tried to access the website, http://ipaddress:port//tsweb , from the same
machine and got the following error box.. (which makes sence)

"the client could not connect. You cannot connect to the console from a
console session of the same computer"

I would double check the firewall. also try to telnet the port from outside. can you do it?
