The PIM Program.

I cannot sync my Contacts, Calendar or Notes with my
iPAQ. I used to be able to but something happened in the
last month to disable it.
I get the following message when try to sync;

Synchronization cannot be completed because your personal
information manager (PIM) program cannot be accessed.
Ensure your PIM program is running and try to synchronize
again. If your PIM program is running, restart your
desktop computer.

I've tried adding a profile and it still does not
recognize the personal information.
Where is the PIM program and how do I enable it?

Dear Rick,

the "PIM" (Personal Information Manager) is normally your Outlook.

Maybe Outlook is not your Standard Eail Client?

Have a look in your Internet Explorer under
Tools/Internetoptions/Programs/Email Editor if there is Outlook (NOT Outlook
Expresse) is enabled.

Oliver,

Microsoft Outlook is enabled but I still get the same
error message stating that the PIM is not running.

Any other suggestions?
