Short answer: Perre Cante

Long(er) answer: the current OS on this machine is Voyager 18.04 LTS — a French (X)ubuntu derivative, and that background is part of its default background collection. The beaver? Well... Ubuntu 18.04 LTS goes by the name "Bionic Beaver"... so there.

Not as many as usual, Ian. We've been to South Africa many, many times over the years, as we have friends who live there, so there is less incentive to take pics now. It is a beautiful country and worth a visit if you ever get the chance.
