The page cannot be displayed

Internet Connection-Cable through a router

At least two major sites previously accessible from my
computer cannot be displayed. Both are financial
institutions. I know it is specifically my computer
because my roomates computer accesses these sites
flawlessly using the same cable connection through the
router. At first Explorer would show a blank page while
attempting to load then go to MY WEB SEARCH showing all
the listings of the website I was trying to access with
links. I would then click on the link just to get the
same My Web Search Page. Now when I type in the URL
Explorer brings up the typical error of "The page cannot
be displayed" "Cannot find server or DNS Error". This
only occurs with the two particular sites. All other
websites are accessed without error.

Thank you for your help!
