The new iPad from Apple

Today Apple revealed the new incarnation of the hugely successful iPad. The latest version features the following improvements:

• 'Retina display' - bright colours and crisp images thanks to the 2,048 by 1,536 pixels screen (that's 3.1 mega pixels).
• 5MP iSight Camera - features advanced optics, auto white balance, and face recognition, not to mention the ability to record HD videos.
• Ultrafast 4G LTE - allows high speed internet access. The iPad can also act as a mobile hotspot for up to 5 devices over WiFi, Bluetooth or USB.

The cheapest version (16GB with just WiFi) will retail for £399 and the top of the range 64GB model with wi-fi and 4G will cost £659. It will go on sale in the UK on 16th March 2012.
