the Messaging interface has returned an unknown error if the probl

Persists, restart outlook

When trying to send attachments( small word doc.) will recieve the above
error message, have tried restart outlook, even in safe mode and running the
repair wizard.

Also have tried creating a new profile, problem went away for half the day.
Am using outlook 2007, fully updated windows xp.

Any other ideas?

At what exact point do you get this error?
It doesn't happen when you are sending an email without attachment? Then it
is very likely to be caused by your virus scanner integrating with Outlook.
Disable/uninstall this integration and try again.
