The Information Rights icon is not present on standard toolbar

I am trying to protect a document that will be posted on a web page from
being printed or changed. The information rights management icon is not
present on my standard toolbar. I have installed the IRM client on my
computer. How can I protect this document from being printed or changed?

The only way to protect it is to not put it on the
Internet. If it can be read by a human, a program like
SnagIt can create an image that can be saved an printed.

What version of Word are you using and which edition of Office do you
have? It is only available in the Office 2003 Professional Edition.

If you have the IRM client installed then that will enable you to view
IRM protected documents but not create them.

Also, IRM is user-specific. You grant permissions to the document by
user. If you are trying to use IRM to protect a document on a web page
that anyone will be able to access then IRM is not what you need. Your
only option is to use PDF but it isn't 100% secure either.
