Yeah, me too. I got the dreaded "NTLDR is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
to restart" message after using control panel to uninstall the Verizon
DSL help program that they put on my computer. BTW, pressing
Ctrl+Del+Alt to restart didn't do squat.
But ;-) I have GoBack on my computer and I told it to revert my
hard drive to 10 minutes earlier and that put everything right again.
My question is: Will this problem keep coming back? The MS knowledge
base says something about too many files in the boot area and
something about too much fragmentation.
Will it help to defragment my hard drive?
I have the BCUpdate2.exe utility. Will using that help?
Thanks.
