the disk management services could not complete the operation

Hi,
I boot xpe image using ramdisk, diskpart.exe is in windows\system32
directory

The system boots up fine, but when I key in diskpart at the command prompt
it gives me the above error.

But if the image is on the regular hard drive then it is ok to start
diskpart. So the same image worked on hard drive not on ramdisk.

It seems to me that diskpart can not run on ramdisk.
My goal is to partition the hard drive and format the hard drive. If I can
not run diskpart then how do I partition and format the drive?

Any one has any idea?

And you will have to remove all entries from MountedDevices.
And remove HKLM\System\Setup SystemPartition

I did all described in the link below, and it worked for a while, then I
added "NTFS format" to the image, it worked for few seconds and then stopped
working.

I use manage from another computer to connect to it, and check the service
for disk managers services, it just in the starting status.

Any clue? When you have yours done successfully, what format tool do you
use?
