i bought a new laptop 3 yr ago that came with XPH so i took my retail version
of XPP & did a clean install & updated to sp2 when i was supposed to & stayed
updated & think everything has been goin great. well i jus got my laptop back
from HP warranty repair & i actually haven't got much to complain about, wow.
It came back with XPH sp2 installed. i've been lead to believe that after sp2
that there is really no difference between XPH & XPP. i dont mind goin though
the process of the reinstall but if it isnt nessary i dont care about doing
it. i've not gotten around to slip streaming my XPP with sp2.

XP HE still cannot join domains and cannot change NTFS security permissions
outside of safemode. If you use either of these then you may wish to install
XP Pro, if not save your time and effort and keep it how it is, but remove
those HP Extras they give you that hogs up your memory like the welcome
center and such. Good Luck,
