The DaVinci Code by 2K

I've downloaded the game with XP, the install wizard tells me the
installation is fine however when I prompt the game to play I get the
following message.

"This application has failed to start because mss32.dll was not found,
re-installing the application may help. " Which of course i've done.

I've downloaded DirectX9 updates.

Any answers?

This file is part of the 'Miles Sound System' and should reside in the
root folder of your game. Have a look if it exists in the root of your
game. As it is part of nearly every game nowadays: you might find it in
the root of another folder and copy/paste it.
If the file is in the DaVinci folder I suggest to try another
re-installation AFTER un-installing the game first and rebooting your
computer.

Hello. If Thomas' advice doesn't do the trick you can download the file
from:

http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?mss32

Once downloaded unzip the file itself and place it into the root directory
of the game. Open up My Computer and browse to the folder it will be
something like C:\Program Files\2K Games\The DaVinci Code\

Anymore troubles feel free to post back.
