What happens if you allow it to complete the checking rather than cancel?

|||| default pst, but all psts in the profile may be affected if
|||| outlook doesn't close correctly. If you don't uncradle the PPC,
|||| ActiveSync keeps outlook open, which causes the problem. The
|||| archive pst may be larger so you see the notification for it, or
|||| it's done first (or last) and outlook doesn't update
|||| the dialog.
