Hi,

When I attempt to log into my Windows 2003 server's
domain from XP Pro, I get the error "The current time on
this computer and the current time on the network are
different." Anyone ever seen or heard of this?

Thanks,

Dwaine

Yes this is common. The time on the server must be with
in 5 min of the time on the computer logging on. This is
a security feature. That can be changed by the system
administrator in group policy. I would not recommend
changing it.

I recommend you look at the time settings on each
computer (server and XP machine) and make sure the time
is with in 5 min. Check to make sure they are in the same
time zones. or at least have the correct time for the
time zone they are supposed to be in.

Thanks,

I had forgotten that I'd set the server's date to October
to try to work around an installation problem.
