Your email provider should have a help page on their website with the
correct names and settings.

Then go to Tools - Accounts
to enter the information.

Hi Gary, i have the same problem- when it says my server fails to connect and
the problem might be that i have a lack of memory space. My antivirus that i
am running is bitdefender and i would not like to change it at all. i'm
running on vista, and i do have an imap account with gmail. do you have any
suggestions that i can try to get my outlook runnning.

You mention "my outlook". Is that really the name of your email program?
We can't offer support for Outlook in this forum since we only support
Windows Mail here. If you meant the latter, then your best bet is to
upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

I believe SpySweeper has a setting to ignore emails. I can't tell you
exactly how to do that since I don't have SpySweeper.

lam having this problem long time ago l report it that l can get help but up
to date nothing has being done about it lam still having the proble now lcan
open my mail l can send email lwant you to close thie ID shinedordzik7@hot
mail and shinedordzik7@windownslivemail accouts for me and close windown
live messanger lam not interesting of using if again ldont have any profit

Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

If you would like some custom help, describe *your* email problem
in detail, and include a copy of any error messages.
