If you don't wish to use the POP mail in Windows Mail, and just want to
access the email via a web page, just remove the account in Windows Mail.

Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Remove

O.K. All today's e-mails are coming in to BellSouth Web e-mail, but all
e-mails before today are still in Windows mail. Can I bring them over to our
BellSouth Web e-mail. I tried "selecting all" and "send/all", no luck.

Uh, just click on E-Mail on your Bellsouth home page.
You don't have to run Windows Mail if you don't want to.

You can't do a mass send. You will have to send them individually.

It looks like you have 2 accounts, with only partial settings in each.
Delete one of them.

You have the outgoing server name messed up. It should be SMTP.AOL.COM, not
just "aol"
Tools - Accounts - your aol account - Properties - Server

and the port needs to be changed to 587
Tools - Accounts - your aol account - Properties - Advanced

I tried what you said and it says

server name correctly.
Subject 'paid training', Account: 'aol', Server: 'aol', Protocol: SMTP,
Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

now when i go to tools, accts, it shows 2 emails aol's as default and then
imap.aol.com. can you please help.

That would depend on your ISP is. Each ISP has their own mail servers.
Check your ISP's website for instructions, or tell us who your ISP is
and we can look it up for you.

Ask your mail provider which you should use and what the settings should be.

Thanks for the tip. I have done that, and now am getting a message which
states, "Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to
non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on
your system.

I'm not sure if they are talking about my computer or the service I use to
connect to the internet.

Would appreciate any tips on what to try next.

Each e-mail provider has their own mail servers. Check your provider's
website for instructions, or alternatively, tell us who your e-mail provider
is, and we can look up that information for you.

They don't seem to have instructions for Windows Mail yet, but
you may be able to get what you need from their Outlook
Express instructions.
