Hi
I'm try to get rid of this in my event log. I think it's causing a
number of login issues (note this is the only error stated):
Event Type: Error
Event Source: EventSystem
Event Category: (50)
Event ID: 4614
Date: 19/04/2007
Time: 11:02:40
User: N/A
Computer: MYPC
Description:
The COM+ Event System detected an inconsistency in its internal
state. The assertion "GetLastError() == 122L" failed at line 201 of d:
\qxp_slp\com\com1x\src\events\shared\sectools.cpp. Please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.
After searching everywhere and trying various things over the last
three days, I've tried the following:
* Removed Security update for IE 7 for XP (KB929969)
* Windows XP COM+ Hotfix Rollup package 13
Thought I'd fixed it, but no it keeps bouncing back.
Any ideas (this bug is really bad news right now ?
Many thanks....!
