I use Microsoft Windows2000 Professional version on my PC.
I have encountered a problem so that some of my mostly
used programs (softwares) don't come up when I run them.
This problem, I think, came to existence when the power
source of the PC turned off some times a day. Now just
some of Windows' setting up are successful and I can use
that softwares. I am confident that this problem is not
due to the programs and is because of miss setting of the
Windows.
the error message is:
"The application failed to initialize properly(0XC0000142).
Click on OK to terminate the program."
Also disk and defragmenting has no effect.
I appreciate your help and suggestions to solve this
problem.
(If I install Windows on this one,do the other
programs stop working?)
