When I insert a text box for a watermark in the header/footer, I cant get rid
of the border. When I look at print preview, there's the border in the
watermark. I have clicked on Format borders while it header page and
highlighted the textbox and put in "no borders", but to no avail! Is help
available/

If you're asking about Word, this is an XP newsgroup, so you might be better
posting in the Word or Office groups.

However, if it is Word, you might also try changing the border colours to
white, or to "no line".

insert this in the textarea element manually.

style="clip:rect(1,xx,xx,1);position:absolute"

you have to set the xx value according to windth and height.
