I just installed outlook 2003 (trial) and after importing my old mail which
always looked fine before, some of my messages now have text formatting tags
in them. Example:
At the top of one of my messages it says

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------060508070901040805090103
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

and at the bottom

Do you Yahoo!?

Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii

<DIV>**friends text**</DIV><p>
<hr size=1>Do you Yahoo!?<br>
Meet the <a href="http://my.yahoo.com">all-new My Yahoo!</a> – Try it today!
--0-2136339003-1104695088=:19570--

In another one of my emails which had an attachment, it now reads:
This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
--------------060508070901040805090103
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

--------------060508070901040805090103
Content-Type: application/vnd.ms-powerpoint; name="The Columbus
Controversy.ppt"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: inline;
filename="The Columbus Controversy.ppt"

and then random text which I expect to be the powerpoint file in text format.

I dont understand whats happening. Thanks for your help.

Describe how you imported and from what program.
