Text breaking in the middle of word not continuing on to next line

Just looking for a bit of help if possible. I have page of text but the
words at the end of the line are breaking in the middle instead of jumping to
the next line!

If you know how to fix this could you please let me know? The only solution
I've found so far is to paste the text unformatted into a new word document
but I'm hoping to avoid this as the document is 150 pages long!!!

Someone may be able to help you, but *far* more accurate & specific
information is going to be necessary:) To start:

What version of Word, first of all?

What's "breaking in the middle" - the lines? The words?

By "jumping" do you mean _wrapping_?

What are you copying _from_?

What font is being used?

Are you pasting to a blank doc or one that already has content?

If the latter, give details about the target doc & its formatting.

What the OP means is that Word is wrapping the text as if it were a symbol
font, breaking words in the middle (not hyphenating, just breaking them
willy-nilly) when it reaches the margin. I've had this problem, and it was
always the result of document corruption.
