termservices not allowing xp log off

I have seen this problem reported before though not very much recently.
Also I have tried all the fixes noted back then but none seem to work
for me.

I get exactly the same symptoms everyone else has reported where if one
person is logged on and a second person logs on, the computer freezes
when the second person then logs off. The error in Event Viewer states
a problem in TermService with eventid 1036 and error msg "Terminal
Server session creation failed. The relevant status code was
0xC0000037."

It only started happening 2 weeks ago. Before then everything was
fine, and I have even done a system restore to a few days before it
started happening but still no luck.

I have tried resetting the automatic/manual settings on the Terminal
Services and Fast-User Switching Services. I have turned off and
restored Fast-user Switching using the suggested registry file from
Kellys-corner, but still no luck. I have even tried reverting the
v2192 of termsrv.dll to v2055 as some people have recommeded, but that
did not fix it either.

I have been happily running XP on this PC from pre SP1 days. it has
been on a wireless network for over a year, and consequently I can no
longer remote-desktop to the PC from my laptop if someone is already
logged in.

I have completely run out of ideas and areas to investigate further.
If someone out there can spare a few minutes to come up with any more
suggestions as to how this thing suddenly started, I would deeply
appreciate it. Thanks.

Regards,
Mikey.
