Terminal Services.

I know you have seen this message a 1000 times. I need to
be sure of it.

I have a T.S. server that the Licensing manager shows
that I have a total of 4 available with 32 issued. I
have 4 winterms that will not get a licensing. I can
bring in a loaner winterm or a PC and get a license. I
think that these winterms were setup and then not used
for more than 90 days. Also the event log shows a message
Event ID 1004 "the Terminal server cannot issue a client
license. I recently update the server to SP4 and this
did not help. Also, I have tried factory defaulting the
winterms and then trying to reconnect with no luck. The
Message I get when trying to connect is The Terminal
Server ended the connection or a network error occured.
Please try to reconnect.

I have read messages about calling the clearing house?
How does this work and were can I get that number? Also,
Can I remove a license pack and then reinstall it?

Have you tried flashing these WBTs with a newer version of
their firmware?

The clearinghouse number should be available through the
terminal services licensing program. Bring that up and it
should tell you what number to call. However, getting
your licenses reissued may not solve your problem,
especially since your other non-WBT clients are already
working just fine.

Yes I have tried downloading a newer version of firmware.
I feel that I have tired everything but adding Lic. or
calling the clearing house.

Update:

I think there maybe another Lic server on the network. I
seem to remember this can cause problems. Although, the
article in your links sounds like that is the problem.

That could definitely be a problem.
