What is necessary to setup terminal services with WinXP Pro? Have a small
home network and would like to setup terminal services to share apps and
internet without having computers everywhere.

Hi -

Out of the box, Windows XP has limited TS functionality.
You can use Remote Assistance to take control of the XP
machine but that's not the best way to run remote
applications I ever saw.

The ideal solution would be to stand up a Windows 2003
terminal server and load all the applications you need
there but it's a bit of a pricey solution for home
networking.

Other choices include free applications like VNC,
applications with limited remote control functionality
like PCAnywhere or full-blown TS applications like Citrix
MetaFrame.

Hope this helps -
