Terminal Server vs. Citrix pros and cons

Windows 2000 Terminal Server and Cirix:

We are deciding whether to use TS vs Citrix. I realize that Citrix runs on
top of TS. We will have about 10 users coming in over DSL/VPN to the home
office running several database front ends (VB6 interface to IBM AS400) on
the server. Our goal is to improve performance. Right now the apps take
about 3 minutes to load each page which is too slow. Locally, at corp home
office, each page takes about 15 seconds.

Opinions and recommendations please - what additional features does Citrix
claim to provide, does it work well, is it worth the money,
advantages/disadvantages vs. TS only, etc.

IMHO, there are 2 key features of MetaFrame that make it worthwhile:

1) The ability to shadow users and see exactly what they are seeing when
they run into problems
2) The seamless and painless way it connects users to their own local
drives and printers.

NFuse is also great and not difficult to administer, but that's gravy.
