Terminal Serv CAL problem

Our IT Consultants supplied and installed 10 per Device TS licences when we
ordered per User ones. Is there a way to get the problem fixed without buying
another 10 TS licences? If there is no alternative, can the unused per device
licences be resold to another organisation? It seems small businesses are at
the mercy of 'knowledgeable' consultants and have to accept that they know
what they are doing-- it does not always follow.

No guarantees, but you might try and call the Clearinghouse. Although
you officially do not have the right to change license type (unless
you have Software Assurance), they tend to err on the side of the
customer in such cases.

I would call them, explain the situation and ask them to re-issue
your licenses as Per User licenses instead.
Be sure to be in front of your TS Licensing Server when you call
them, and to have some basic knowledge of how to install licenses on
a LS.

Thanks Vera.
I will ask the IT contractor to try this -- This might just save their
continued employment. will keep my fingers crossed that Clearing House will
oblige.
