Steven

I'm praying that some one can help.
I have reinstall the OS on the remote and I now have a
new OS for the server-->win 2000. I have one remote that
can not see there own printer. I have it on an LPT
port/usb cable and it's shared. The remote can logon
with out any probloms but the local printer is still not
availible. They are setup as an admin login with
interaction with the sesion and the printer is shared and
the rdp has it as an shared option. I also have the
option set in terminal svc's for the redirect of the
printer. I have also installed the printer drivers in the
server properties drivers bin and they still can not
print.????
I'm at a complete loss PLEASE HELP

MUCH THANKS

I had a customer that had a bunch of HP1000 USB printers installed. We
couldn't get them to run unless we used a third party printer software on
the server and client. During testing it worked, but since the software was
$1,000 per server, we ended up buying 3 new printers and still saved a
couple of hundred dollars.

You should check with Microsoft to see if the printer is compatible with
Terminal Services. HP also has their own list that shows their
compatibility with TS.
