Temporary workaround for High security settings?

Hi,
I'm running IE6 on WinXP Pro SP2. I have my Internet Zone security set
to high for protection from general web surfing. This works out great
most of the time. If a website has a lot of info I want to see or
download (and I trust it), I will add it to my Trusted Zone. The
problem comes when I want just 1 or two files from a site (like a pdf
catalog). I don't necessarily want to add the whole site to my trusted
zone, and it is a pain to go in and lower my security just for the one
download then raise it again.

Is there a way to temporarily lower security for the download (maybe
some key combo)? I know you can <CTRL> click a link to get around the
Pop Up blocking temporarily. I am just hoping there is something
similar for Security.

Thanks for any info,

Ken

Try installing the IE5 Power Tweaks and use the two Tools options
it provides for quickly adding and removing trust for web sites.
Those work unchanged in IE6.

I do use those, but they don't remove any links, just "Add to Trusted"
or "Add to Restricted". Besides, some links point to files on another
site, and it isn't always obvious what that site is.

Oh well, Thanks for your reply anyway.
