Temporary Internet file

Richard

I look at pictures that someone sent to me by email and when I click to the
next picture I get an Temporary Internet file and another and another until
I've seen a hundred of them. I manually deleted all my Temporary Internet
files and reboot and they are all there again and the same thing happens.
Can anyone help?

To view "next" and "next", you must first save the files to your hard
drive. You can't do that with attachments.

I have done that but that's not the problem. Why all the Temporary Internet
files with my email pictures?

The "email pictures" you see listed as attachments are shortucts to
where they are: in temporary locations, waiting for you to do what you
want with them. There are other files in the same location.

The pictures stored with the email message in Windows Mail are still encoded
for email and thus not viewable until decoded and saved somewhere. Win Mail
stores them in the Temporary Internet Files folders after decoding them.
