Temporarry Files

D

Dirk Jenter

MS Word 2002 keeps filling up my directories with temporary
files of the type ~WRL1234.tmp. These are not deleted when
MS Word is closed and keep accumulating. How can I stop it
from doing this?

Thank you!

They should be deleted when you close the relevant document. If they're not,
then either you don't have the correct permissions or there is another
problem. I think it may be a problem with SMB packet signing. If you'll ask
about this in microsoft.public.word.application.errors, you may attract the
attention of someone who knows the answer.
