I would like to create my own template in excel.
I know you can save it by doing save as a 'template'
format.

my question is this: you know how yu can see other
templates on file such as "invoice" and it shows up on
your screen as a "fill out form"
isnt that a template ? or is it that we cant create that?
if so how do i get my existing template to look like a
fill in the blank form on my screen for my employees?

thank yu ..

Hi there

If you want your template to appear in the same area as
the others that you can choose when you select File/New,
then you will need to save the template in the same folder
that these appear in. Typically this folder is held on
your hard drive in C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates\1033.

If you want it to appear for all users, you will have to
save it on each machine individually

Hope this helps

Yes, the Invoice and others are templates.

Yes, you can create something similar or identical.

It is all a matter of formatting and appropriate formulas in all the right
places.
