Template help

I d/l an Access 2007 template (Real Estate). There are no instructions and
there's no help available. I found instructions to activate help, Access
Options|Resources|Register, but "Register" isn't available.

Is there a document available for this template?

There are no documents available for templates. When downloaded you are on
your own. Try to figure it out and if you have any questions regarding the
template come back here and post your question.

Hello,

If you need a real estate database, I can create one for you at a very
reasonable fee. I provide help with Access, Excel and Word applications for
a small fee. Contact me if you want to work together to build a real estate
database. You can have your database up and running in a short time.

Toller,

Unfortunately, those templates don't come with documentation. However, if
you ask specific questions we can assist for FREE. It would also help to
post a link to the database you are referring to as I did not see it on the
Microsoft Template site.

stevie, you are such a loser. thinking people will want to hire you after
you have proven you do not know anything about ethical behaviour.

Stevie is our own personal pet troll who is the only one who does not
understand the concept of FREE peer to peer support!
He offers questionable results at unreasonable prices.

These newsgroups are provided by Microsoft for FREE peer to peer support.
There are many highly qualified individuals who gladly help for free. Stevie
is not one of them, but he is the only one who just does not get the idea of
"FREE" support. He offers questionable results at unreasonable prices. If he
was any good, the "thousands" of people he claims to have helped would be
flooding him with work, but there appears to be a continuous drought and he
needs to constantly grovel for work.

Please do not feed the trolls.

If this is a FREE Access DATABASE template, it probably came from a site
other than the MS Office template site. The only "real estate" templates
I've seen on the MS Office template site are for Word or Publisher, not for
databases. You MIGHT be able to get FREE help from the site where you
downloaded it. However, most templates are pretty much "As Is" and they are
generally offered for FREE by the developer, either as a FREE service to the
larger community, or as an introduction to that developer's work. If you
LIKE what you see in the template, then you might follow up with the
developer who created it for assistance. It's also possible to get FREE
assistance here, but you'll need to post specific questions about specific
aspects of the template. Note that these forums, while FREE, are staffed by
volunteers who do not charge for their services.

One thing to take into consideration is this. The developer who gave you
this FREE template may well have done so as an inducement to come back to
their site for paid assistance, but that developer did start out by making
an investment in his or her time and expertise before providing that FREE
download. That developer is not trolling the FREE public newsgroups for easy
pickings.

Keep that in mind if you do decide to look for PROFESSIONAL assistance.

Hi George,

I suspect the poster is working with this Access 2007 Real Estate template found on Office Online:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC103336801033.aspx?CategoryID=CT101428241033&av=ZAC000

Toller,
There is no documentation covering this template at this time as there is for some of the other
templates.

Jeff, you guys need a better search engine on the MS Office site <grin>. I
searched on "Real Estate" and it failed to return this "Property Listing"
db.

BTW: I hope you realize that last post was an attempt at a joke.
I really don't know how I overlooked this template the first time I
searched. I've downloaded it and will take a look at it now.
