template folder in save as favorite links...

When i do an open or save as in Word or Excel 2007 in Vista it has a box to
the side of favorite links. One is always Templates. I have moved this
folder down but everytime i go back in to save as or open its back on top.
Furthermore i have to expand the folders option below the box to see other
folders. That does not stay as default either. How do i set these to be
defaults? thank you.

This is actually a Vista question rather than a Word or Excel question. If I
knew the answer I'd provide it but all I can do is suggest posting in a
