Tektronix 840 ColorStix in Xerox 8200?

We bought a new Xerox Phaser 8200 and now we have lot of the Colorstix from
the old Tektronix Phaser 840.

Can we use these if we rebuild the new one to get the old ones to fit. (We
could easily switch the lid)
Could it harm the new printer?

The official answer is no, but thats as much as I can tell you! Media
Sciences is offering a free sample on its compatible 'stix' for those in
the US, has anyone tried them at all?

We still have a lot of new original Phaser 360 supplies and we are wondering
the same thing...
Should we simply put them in a Phaser 840, 850, 860 or 8200 and print ???
