Teaching PPT about new backgrounds

Can I somehow teach PPT XP to know about a large set of backgrounds (Alchemy
backgrounds)? I'd like them to be available like templates are.

While I'm at it, can I somehow teach PPT to know about my many extra
templates? I put them in the templates folder but PPT doesn't see them.

You can create a folder with all of your background images and then when you
want to insert a new background you'll have to go to Format > Background >
Fill Effects > Picture and browse to your folder.
