My system starting having extremely poor performance. Checking the task
manager tcpsvcs.exe is running at 90%. This condition happen at the same
time I installed some XP option components. My searching show tcpsvcs.exe
had to do with DHCP; although some claim it is a virus. Appreciate any
suggested help in correcting tcpsvcs issue.

Yes, I have run disk clean up, defragment, anti virus and anti spy ware.

Life is GOOD!

I found a web site and it seem a lot of users have had this tcpsvcs -
performance problem. See http://www.gidforums.com/t-6079.html jamm explains
how he fixed the problem by unistalling TCP/IP version 6 in the network. I
did it and my system is running great. I not sure how this all happen unless
it was during installing one of the XP network components.
