TCP/IP error

Recebtly moved house and had broadband reinstalled had
issues with it firstly thinking it was a problem with
cable modem but it works on my laptop. But still can not
get it to work on my home computer even though it all
worked fine in last house and my laptop was networked to
home computer that was connected to Internet. Now on home
computer I've started to receive this message 'The tcp/ip
transport is not installed'. Please help it is driving me
mad. i would appreciate email if poss

You moved the PC to another location. Did you take care NOT to bounce the
hard drive during the relocation?
I suspect you have an old hard drive that was damaged in the move and now
you will begin to receive strange errors.
