tcp/ip cp reported error 1450

Armin

Hi,
I receive following error after my system has been up for a
few hours and I want to dial up my isp:
"TCP/IP CP reported error 1450: insufficient system
resources exist to complete the requested service."
I am using Windows XP Professional with all the latest
security patches and updates applied. I also receive this
error without running other programs. I have searched
through knowledge base and googled, but can't seem to find
anyone with the same problem.
Can anybody please assist?

Thanks

Armin

I while tell you how to get more Error info as It is
frustrating to have a problem, a number for that problem
and it leads no where. My problem is that number, - now
what? When you have more info then you can be more
specific when posting here and getting assistance. I
would start looking for more info on this error, view a
error log for eg.
Look here for your error on your your Computer now:

To view a specfic log for a specfic program or event go
to: Start> Control Panel>Performance and
Maintenance>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>DBL Click
ON, Event Viewer (Local)>Left Click ON: Application>
View>Click on Find>Click Drop down Menu on Evevt
Source>Select: Source>Click Drop Down Menu for:
Category>Find Next

This same procedure works for Application,Security and
System.

You might also consider Windows XP Update: Windows Error
Reporting Update
This update will enable you to automatically view
responses to Windows error reports. You can get some
reason for the error here, hereis link to download if so
choose.
