Tasks - Reading Pane - Editing Text

Currently, I have my task list set up with the list (without autopreview) on
the left. I have also set the Reading pane to show on the right so that when
I scroll thru the tasks, I have a view of the task on the right. One of the
limitations is that I can't edit directly in Reading pane. I have to open
the task, type in the notes section, then close. Is there a way to make the
Reading pane "editable".

Thanx.

No. That's why it's called the "reading pane," not the "editing pane."

Thanx for the answer Sue.

I could have done without the critisism at the end. I fully understand that
it is a reading pane, but perhaps somewhere buried in the myriad of switches,
text boxes, and checkboxes included in Outlook, I may have missed one that
would change performance of the reading pane. It's nice to know that I was
indeed exhaustive in my efforts.

If you read criticism, it was a perception on your end. None was intended from this end.
